NMEH has been encouraging collaboration since 2000. In 2014, the NMEHub was established as NMEH's collaboration portal in order to facilitate discussion around solutions to common challenges within Medicaid. It launched in 2014 at the Medicaid Enterprise Systems Conference (MESC) in Denver, Colorado.
The NMEHub's goal is to facilitate conversation across state, federal and vendor lines. There are designated discussion areas for special topics and interests. We have the ability to create new collaboration areas with sufficient state interest. Users of the NMEHub have the opportunity to survey and gain input from the Medicaid industry as a whole.
Documents, such as APDs, RFPs and other similar reference material are made available on the NMEHub. Historically, states have been dependent on personal networks when planning an enterprise solution to key compliance measures such as Modularity, MITA, ACA and HITECH. However, with the assets available in our portal, states can easily tap into a wealth of information about how other states are effectively solving the same problems.
The portal is not just a library of reference documents. Users can leverage the portal to facilitate online meetings, capture action items and solicit secure surveys.
Who can join the NMEHub?
- Anyone working for a state Medicaid (or related) agency
- Anyone working for the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS)
- Employees of vendors currently working for a state Medicaid (or related) agency
- Any consultant or firm who is interested in NMEH and is willing to contribute to solving the challenges that are inherent to our industry
